To enhance the experience and create a sense of exclusivity, your guests can arrive through a private entrance and enjoy the stunning views of the Nationals Ballpark from the private patio. Wedding Events at Jackie: Rehearsal Dinners, Receptions and Post-Wedding Brunches
Jackie hosts the events around a wedding weekend in Navy Yard, Washington DC: the rehearsal dinner, the welcome reception, the wedding reception and the brunch the morning after. Most wedding groups we host have between 50 and 150 guests. The photos below are from a wedding reception in the Jackie Dining Room.
Can Jackie host a rehearsal dinner in Navy Yard, Washington DC?
Yes. For a rehearsal dinner with the wedding party and close family, the JFK Private Room seats 35, or up to 50 for a cocktail reception. For a larger group, the Dining Room seats 80 for dinner, or up to 200 for a cocktail reception.
The JFK Private Room has its own private entrance and a private patio facing Nationals Park, and it is designed for secluded dinners. Dinner can be individually plated, family style or a buffet, and the events team guides you through Executive Chef Domenico Cornacchia's custom menus, the floor plan and the logistics.
Can Jackie host a wedding reception or a welcome reception in Navy Yard, Washington DC?
Yes. For a wedding reception, the Dining Room seats 80 for dinner, or up to 200 for a cocktail reception, and a full restaurant buyout accommodates up to 350 guests. The Bar holds up to 160 guests for a cocktail reception, and the covered Front Patio, with river views and steps from Nationals Park, holds up to 160 standing.
The Bar pours more than 20 draft beers and craft cocktails, with a sound system and a microphone for the toasts. Five TVs, which look like mirrors when switched off, can show photos of the couple. Jackie's event options also include floral arches, table displays, DJs, photo booths and satellite bars.
Can Jackie host a post-wedding brunch in Navy Yard?
Yes. The covered Front Patio seats 100 for a sit-down brunch, and Jackie's private event menus include a coursed brunch, served individually plated or family style.
Brunch is also on Jackie's regular menu on Fridays and weekends, so guests who stay in town can come back on their own.
Can we host a rehearsal dinner at Jackie and a welcome party at Dacha Navy Yard?
Yes, and many couples have done exactly that. Dacha Beer Garden Navy Yard, Jackie's sister venue, is next door at the same address, 79 Potomac Ave SE, so the rehearsal dinner at Jackie can be followed by a larger welcome party in the garden.
The garden holds up to 800 guests, so the welcome party can be much bigger than the rehearsal dinner. If you are considering both, mention both events, the date and the guest counts when you get in touch.
