Where to Watch the 2026 World Cup in Navy Yard:
The Screens Next Door, the Table at Jackie
Every match on the patio at Dacha next door, the Tingey Plaza fan zone two blocks away, and dinner at Jackie when the final whistle blows.
Jackie: watch next door, then come in for the meal.
The World Cup Lands in Navy Yard
The 2026 FIFA World Cup runs June 11 through July 19, and for five weeks Navy Yard becomes one of the busiest match-watching corners of Washington DC. Jackie sits in the middle of it, at 79 Potomac Ave SE, a short walk from the official fan zone and steps from where the matches play on screen.
Washington isn't a host city this year, so the tournament here is a watch-party tournament. That plays to the strength of the Capitol Riverfront: an outdoor fan zone two blocks from the table, big screens next door, and the easy walk home afterward.
Here is the honest neighborhood plan: catch the match on the patio at Dacha Beer Garden Navy Yard, our next-door neighbor, or at the Tingey Plaza fan zone, then walk into Jackie for a real dinner when it's over.
Where Can You Watch the World Cup in Navy Yard?
For screens with the sound on, the best seat in the neighborhood is right next door. Jackie is an American bistro, not a sports bar: the dining room's mirror displays stay off during service, so the match itself belongs next door at Dacha Beer Garden Navy Yard, where you can watch loud and then walk a few steps to Jackie for dinner.
Next Door at Dacha Beer Garden
Dacha Navy Yard shares the block with Jackie at 79 Potomac Ave SE and carries every World Cup match from June 11 to July 19 on 20 TVs across its covered patio, with full audio on the featured games. The earliest kickoff is noon, so there are no early-morning matches, and a $15 burger-and-beer special runs the whole tournament. That is where the neighborhood watches.
Is DC Hosting Any World Cup Matches?
No. Washington is not a 2026 host city. The nearest host venues are Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, about 134 miles away, and MetLife Stadium in New Jersey, about 225 miles away, which hosts the Final on July 19.
So Where Do DC Fans Go?
The action is local and on-screen. In Navy Yard, that means the patio at Dacha next door and the official fan zone two blocks away, with Jackie four blocks from Nationals Park for dinner after the whistle. The walk to the match is the length of a city block, not a drive up I-95.
What's Happening at Tingey Plaza, June 19-21?
The official Navy Yard watch party is the United in Play Soccer Celebration, hosted by DC United with the Navy Yard BID at Tingey Plaza, 101 Tingey Street SE, the weekend of June 19 through 21. Gates open at noon on Friday and Saturday and at 11:15 AM on Sunday, anchored by USA versus Australia on Friday, June 19 at 3 PM. It is free with advance registration at dcunited.com/soccer-celebration and draws the biggest neighborhood crowd of the tournament. (The city's other official site, Franklin Park downtown at 1332 I Street NW, runs June 12 through 14.)
Jackie That Weekend
Tingey Plaza is about a five-minute walk from Jackie, which makes June 19-21 the busiest stretch in the neighborhood. Watch the matches at the plaza or on Dacha's patio next door, then reserve a table at Jackie for dinner after; the bar takes walk-ins after 5 if you are coming straight from the crowd.
Where to Watch USA Matches?
The US group games are Friday, June 12 versus Paraguay, Friday, June 19 versus Australia at 3 PM Eastern (the Tingey Plaza weekend), and Thursday, June 25 versus the European playoff winner. If the team advances past the group stage, every knockout match becomes its own event.
The USA Watch Plan
Dacha next door runs featured USA watch parties on all three match days, June 12, 19 and 25, with full sound and a $9 collectible souvenir cup of Michelob Ultra. Walk-ins are welcome, but USA days fill fast, so reserve a patio table on Resy, then carry the night into dinner at Jackie next door.
Where to Watch Mexico and El Tri?
Mexico opens the tournament on June 11, then plays South Korea on June 18 and Czechia on June 24, both at 9 PM Eastern. El Tri draws one of the largest and loudest crowds in Washington DC, and those evening kickoffs sit neatly in the dinner window.
Bringing the Group
Catch the 9 PM kickoffs on Dacha's covered patio next door, where the group can spread out under the screens. When the match ends, the table at Jackie is a few steps away; a reservation holds it for a late dinner, and the bar welcomes walk-ins after 5.
Where to Watch the World Cup Final (Sunday, July 19)?
The Final kicks off at 3 PM Eastern at MetLife Stadium. A Sunday-afternoon start is built for the patio screens next door and a long dinner afterward, the biggest single television event of the summer.
An Open Afternoon in Navy Yard
Watch the Final on Dacha's patio next door, then settle in at Jackie for an early dinner. The neighborhood empties out after the whistle, so the tables open up; reserve the evening and let the celebration come to you.
