A Valentine's Dinner Worth Falling For at Jackie - Navy Yard, Washington DC

A Valentine's Dinner
Worth Falling For
Four courses. One evening. The kind of night you'll both remember.
Jackie - don't read the love story, live it.
An Evening Designed Around You
Valentine's Day in Washington DC can feel like a scramble—crowded bars, rushed dinners, tables squeezed too close together. At Jackie Restaurant, we think the evening should unfold the way a great love story does: slowly, beautifully, with every detail in its right place.
Executive Chef Domenico Cornacchia has designed a four-course prix-fixe menu that moves through the arc of romance itself—from the thrill of first impressions to the sweetness that lingers after. Each course is named for a chapter: First Love, Head Over Heels, True Love, Happily Ever After.
Among navy yard restaurants, this is the kind of dinner that doesn't try to impress—it simply does.
The Menu
First Course
First Love
A tasting plate to set the mood. Ahi tuna with tonnato and caperberry. House-cured salmon with sour cream. Oysters on the half shell with classic condiments. Endive salad with marinated white anchovy. Four beginnings, each one a reason to lean in a little closer.
Second Course
Head Over Heels
Beet bottoni pasta with sweet potatoes and goat cheese. The pasta pockets are vibrant, earthy, and delicate—a quiet showstopper. The sweet potato adds warmth while goat cheese brings a tangy counterpoint. This is the course where the conversation slows down and the evening settles in.
Third Course
True Love
Your choice: Mediterranean branzino, whole and pristine, or Angus beef tenderloin, rich and perfectly seared—each with seasonal sides. One is bright and coastal. The other is deep and grounding. Either way, this is the heart of the meal, the moment the evening feels complete.
Dessert
Happily Ever After
Lemon mousse with a raspberry jelly core and white chocolate glaze. Light, bright, with a hidden burst of berry at the center. The kind of finish that makes you both smile—and maybe order one more glass of wine.
More Than a Dinner
You arrive at Jackie Restaurant and the neighborhood is already glowing. Navy Yard's waterfront, the quiet hum of Capitol Riverfront on a February evening, the kind of walk where you naturally reach for someone's hand.
Inside, the table is yours. The pace is yours. No one rushes the evening along. You order wine, share the tasting plate, argue gently over branzino or tenderloin. The beet pasta arrives and there's a small pause—it's that beautiful. Dessert comes and you realize two hours have passed like twenty minutes.
This is what Valentine's Day feels like at an American restaurant that understands the assignment. Not loud. Not performative. Just an evening where the food, the room, and the company all feel exactly right.
